That’s why I founded Survivors Course — to provide the crucial support and training that aspiring doctors need in order to make a difference in the healthcare field. Over the years, I’ve worked with countless students, and seen firsthand just how difficult it can be to achieve success on the USMLE. That’s why I’m passionate about providing the resources and support necessary to help aspiring medical professionals overcome these hurdles and make their mark in the world. With Survivors Course, we’re dedicated to helping students rise to the challenge and achieve their goals, no matter how daunting they may seem at first.
Can you break down the 3 step program offered by Survivors Courses?
I am excited to share that our program offers three distinct programs – Step 1, 2, and 3 – each tailored to specific parts of the exam process, providing specialized training and focus. Our focus on individual students means we understand that everyone has different needs for success. That’s why we prioritize student-oriented teaching that includes live lectures and comprehensive information sources. When you enroll in the Survivors course, you’ll receive 375 minutes of test-taking skill training and 21 hours of topic-based live lectures each week. Our Step 1 program, in particular, is a six-week course with a focus on grasping key concepts, not just memorizing information. We believe that thinking critically is key, and our six one-on-one tutoring sessions prioritize this skill.
There is immense value that comes with continuing in the program and completing Step 2 and Step 3 courses. Step 2 is a challenging 12-week program that truly tests your ability to apply medical knowledge in practical settings. You’ll need to be well-versed in disease management, which demands a deep understanding of both the disease process and basic science concepts. Then comes Step 3, the ultimate test of knowledge and proficiency. It’s an 18-week program that includes a whopping 30 individual tutoring sessions.
