I work continually to put the public good before his career because I believe it is important for lawyers to help the community and those who need it the most. Those lawyers who follow my team’s example can affect positive change and serve the public’s needs far beyond expectations.

How I Fight for the Public

I believe it is the study of every lawyer to do public good rather than try to line the pockets of rich people and make them even richer. For example, I have worked with multiple nonprofit organizations, such as Compassion Over Killing, the Humane Society, and the National Consumers League, to help provide better information for the public regarding animal products.

I have also pursued multiple national lawsuits against financial and lending companies to ensure that they end predatory practices against at-risk populations. These cases have helped bring attention to these practices and produced a national backlash against lending institutions.

I have long been dedicated to public service and to serving every client to the best of my ability. I continually do whatever I can to help others and improve the world. For instance, before I started my career as a lawyer, I served in the Second Iraq War in 2003 and helped liberate the country from its evil dictator, Saddam Hussein, and helped bring him to justice.

Beyond that, I have also focused his career heavily on border-related crimes as a Special Assistant US Attorney in the Southern District of California. I focus heavily on helping those people affected the most by illegal immigration, including those individuals from Mexico desperate for a better life. I lobby for better protection for these individuals and safer laws for their protection.

Just as importantly, I have fought against the drug smuggling empire bringing in illegal and dangerous substances into the nation. Much of this smuggling is hard to stop, but not impossible with the right approach. By prosecuting these criminals to the furthest extent of the law, I work to ensure that they get the punishment they deserve and that the public is protected from illegal substances.

Furthermore, I worked on the investigation into the DHS’s Hurricane Katrina response to help prepare a congressional probe. Like many others, I was disappointed in how that situation was handled and worked hard to ensure that those who didn’t do their job correctly were brought to justice. It was a long and hard fight, but one that was rewarding for him in the end.

That dedication to public service has helped me and my team provide for the public good for over a decade. As importantly, it has shown his willingness to go against the grain and work for the people, not against them. It’s not always easy to stand up to big power, like corporations and the federal government, but I am willing to risk myself in this way to help the public live a better life.
