What was your catalyst to launch The Knockout Room®?

The Knockout Room® wasn’t born from a single moment — it was the accumulation of years spent navigating the quiet, constant pressure placed on women to shrink themselves. I grew up absorbing the messages about which bodies were celebrated, which were criticized, and how much you were expected to contort yourself to stay likable. Those messages shape you long before you even understand the concept of boundaries.

Like many women, I’ve had my body judged, sexualized, and commented on throughout my life. Even when you learn how to respond, the imprint doesn’t disappear. It affects how you see yourself, how you show up, and how much space you believe you’re allowed to take.

My catalyst was the slow, deliberate work of unlearning all of that — rebuilding identity, voice, and inner authority. As I did that work, I realized how many women were on the same journey, especially working mothers raising daughters who are watching closely and absorbing everything.

The Knockout Room® emerged as the space I needed and couldn’t find: a place where women can reclaim who they are beyond beauty standards, beyond performance, and beyond exhaustion. A place where they can model something healthier for the next generation.

The catalyst was personal. It was the decision to stop shrinking — and to help other women do the same.

Share your approach when working with mothers and tweens.

My work uses a generational‑impact lens, which means I look at how identity, confidence, and self‑trust move from one generation to the next. Tween girls are forming their sense of self in a culture that exposes them early to appearance‑based pressure, comparison, and expectations to mature quickly. But the most powerful influence in that process is still the mother‑daughter relationship.

Tweens learn by watching. They observe how their mothers respond to stress, how they talk about their bodies, how they set limits, and how they navigate moments of uncertainty. Those patterns become the early blueprint for a girl’s own identity. Because of that, my approach works upstream — at the point where those patterns originate.

An upstream approach focuses on strengthening the mother’s relationship with herself: her inner authority, her boundaries, her self‑trust, and her ability to show up without shrinking. When a mother begins to shift — when she treats her needs as valid, communicates with clarity, and models healthy boundaries — her daughter absorbs those lessons naturally. The daughter grows through observation, through the emotional climate her mother creates, and through the behaviors she sees repeated at home.

So my approach is relational and generational. I support mothers in reclaiming the parts of themselves they’ve muted over time, and that transformation quietly recalibrates the environment their daughters grow within. When a mother stands in her identity, her tween learns she’s allowed to do the same.

Your programs blend nutrition, movement, and holistic wellness. Take us through working with you.

Working with me is a holistic experience that blends wellness with identity rebuilding. The Knockout Room® is designed for working mothers who want to reclaim their sense of self and model a healthier emotional blueprint for their tween daughters. Everything begins with the mother — her identity, her boundaries, and her relationship with self‑trust. When she rises in a grounded, authentic way, her daughter absorbs those shifts naturally.

My approach integrates nutrition, movement, and mental health with deeper inner work. I help mothers strengthen their emotional steadiness, reconnect with their inner authority, and rebuild the internal structure that shapes how they show up in every part of their lives. One of the core pillars of my work is boundaries — not just interpersonal boundaries, but the boundaries that define the terms and conditions of their life. Inside my programs, women set boundaries around their nutrition, their fitness, their energy, their time, and their mental health. These boundaries become the framework that supports their wellbeing and the model their daughters learn from.

Inside TKR™ Universe, mothers move through the TKR™ Generational Pathway that guides them from awareness to embodiment to long‑term integration. They begin in TKR™ Arena, an online training ground where they move through four rites of passage: discovering their archetype through the Mythic Mirror Quiz, practicing real‑time boundary setting in TKR™ Games, navigating a gamified Heroine’s Journey inside TKR™ Codex, and integrating their new identity through ongoing support in my membership TKR™ League. Every step is shaped by the Mythic Wellness™ Lens where I use archetypes and symbolism as coaching tools, and the Generational Impact Lens that ensures that each shift a mother makes becomes part of her daughter’s emotional inheritance.

Clients often describe working with me as grounded, clear, and surprisingly light. Even when we’re exploring emotional or complex topics, I bring ease, curiosity, and playfulness — qualities that help mothers open up without feeling overwhelmed. At the same time, I’m deeply attentive. I listen closely, reflect patterns they haven’t named yet, and help them see their situation through a more empowered perspective. My coaching blends depth with practicality: we explore what’s underneath the surface, but I also guide clients toward tangible steps they can take right away.

Working with me is not just about wellness — it’s about identity, legacy, and generational change. Mothers evolve, daughters benefit, and the family story shifts in a meaningful, lasting way.

How do you empower working moms and their daughters to break cycles, build boundaries, and embody lasting strength?

I empower working moms by helping them reconnect with their why — the deeper motivation behind their desire to change. When a mother understands that every shift she makes becomes part of her daughter’s emotional inheritance, she stays committed. That’s the heart of the Generational Impact Lens: each step of her transformation keeps her daughter in mind.

From there, we rebuild identity and boundaries. I teach mothers to set boundaries as the terms and conditions of their lives — around their nutrition, movement, time, energy, and mental health. These boundaries create the structure that supports lasting strength and models self‑respect for their daughters.

As mothers rise in clarity, steadiness, and inner authority, their daughters naturally absorb those patterns. Cycles break not through pressure, but through embodiment. When a mom chooses truth over depletion and self‑trust over people‑pleasing, she gives her daughter permission to do the same.

Empowerment becomes generational — one woman shifting, and her daughter learning she can too.

“Working with Demetra gave me the clarity I didn’t know I was missing. Through one exercise, I finally defined my must‑haves, nice‑to‑haves, and deal breakers — and for the first time, my needs had structure. I learned the language to communicate clearly, identified the triggers behind my exhaustion, and became intentional with the words I used around my daughter. I could feel myself modeling a healthier legacy in real time.”

Sandra T.

“Every session with Demetra was immediately actionable. It felt like peeling back layers — confronting at times, but always worth it. The insights landed quickly, the shifts were tangible, and the payoff was huge. I walked away feeling lighter, clearer, and more in control of my life.”

You became a best-selling author with Relentless: True Stories of Tenacity, Triumph, and Breaking Barriers. What key points can you share?

Relentless explores perseverance in its real, unedited form. Across 23 contributors, you see how grit is built in quiet, uncelebrated moments, the ones where you choose to rise even when the outcome is uncertain.

What ties the stories together is the idea that adversity doesn’t just test you; it teaches you. It sharpens purpose, strengthens character, and reveals the parts of yourself that only emerge when life demands more than convenience or motivation. The book isn’t designed as a highlight reel — it’s a companion for anyone navigating their own difficult season, offering reflections that help readers build inner strength with clarity rather than pressure.

My chapter focuses on following your inner compass and muting the noise — the unsolicited opinions, cultural expectations, and status‑quo narratives that can pull you away from your own direction. For me, resilience isn’t just about pushing through; it’s about staying aligned with who you are, even when the world tries to reroute you.

Together, the contributors created a book that doesn’t just inspire — it equips. Relentless is a guide for anyone committed to rising with intention, courage, and authenticity, no matter how unclear the path ahead may be.

What is next for you?

The next chapter of my work is about expansion — both in reach and in depth. I’m continuing to grow the digital side of The Knockout Room®, building an international audience of women who are ready for identity power, reinvention, and meaningful transformation. The online space has allowed me to connect across borders, and I’m committed to scaling that impact even further through global community building and digital programming.

At the same time, I’m laying the groundwork for in‑person experiences. There is a distinct energy that emerges when women gather with intention — women who are doing the work not just for themselves, but for their lineage. When you put that kind of commitment in a room, transformation becomes undeniable. I’m developing the foundation for future workshops, collaborations, and empowerment events that bring that energy to life.

Meanwhile, my interview on the Beyond the Book podcast will be available on August 28, 2026, where I share more about my Relentless chapter and The Knockout Room®. And in September 2026, I’ll be in Los Angeles for my induction into the National Academy of Best‑Selling Authors®.

So what’s next is a blend of digital expansion, live experiences, and continued visibility through speaking and media. I’m building spaces — online and in person — where women can rise together, challenge inherited narratives, and walk away with a renewed sense of who they are and what they’re capable of.
