If someone were to ask you who is Crystal Mance, what would your reply be?
Crystal: Crystal Mance is a compassionate and kind-hearted woman with a deep-seated desire to help women overcome the challenges of mental and emotional burnout. Her optimistic and positive demeanor radiates warmth and encouragement, and she possesses a genuine love for the outdoors and the beach. What impresses me most about Crystal is her unwavering commitment to partnering with women and helping them develop strategies to lead more productive lives, reflecting her dedication to empowering others to achieve their fullest potential.
How did you get to this vast point in your career? What are some characteristics you have that keep you a in-demand business owner?
Crystal: I credit my career success to consistently practicing intentionality, transparency, and staying true to my commitments. Having experienced burnout firsthand, I can empathize with those going through mental and emotional exhaustion and offer them guidance towards self-discovery and personal growth. Through collaboration and partnership, I empower women to prioritize their well-being and unlock their full potential by being honest about their current state and where they aspire to be. Together, we develop strategies that encourage intentional self-care and positive lifestyle changes that ultimately lead to a more fulfilling life.
Congratulations on serving as a Women’s Pastor at Bethel Deliverance International Church for more than 10 years. What has this role been like for you?
Crystal: It has been a tremendous honor and privilege to serve as Women’s Pastor, but like any ministry, it has its challenges. Over time, I have learned that it is important to accept people for who they are and provide encouragement while sowing seeds of love, positivity, and hope. Ultimately, it is up to God to bring about lasting change in people’s lives, but as a Pastor, I strive to guide and support individuals on their spiritual journey. Through my experiences, I have come to realize that my role is not to change people, but to assist them in their growth and development, trusting in the Lord’s guidance every step of the way.
What do you enjoy most about the work that you do?
Crystal: Witnessing the transformation and growth of women into the person God intended them to be brings me immense joy. The fruits of my labor in providing love, prayer, and support are truly rewarding. Equally fulfilling is helping my clients recognize their own self-worth and establish a healthy balance in their lives. I encourage women to understand that saying “Yes” to everything and everyone can lead to neglecting their own goals and dreams. By setting boundaries and being intentional about self-care, women can prioritize their needs and avoid losing themselves in the process. This realization helps my clients establish healthy boundaries and develop the confidence to communicate them effectively, which ultimately leads to the respect and support they deserve from others.
As a public speaker and Pastor, do you ever get nervous before talking to a crowd? If not, what do you think gives you the comfort to speak in front of large audiences?
Crystal: While it’s true that I experience nervousness before speaking in front of a crowd, I have found that prayer is a powerful tool to calm my nerves and help me feel at ease. Prior to any speaking engagement, I take time to pray and find peace within myself, allowing me to deliver my message confidently and effectively.
What would you say is your life purpose?
Crystal: I am convinced that my purpose in life is to assist women in overcoming mental and emotional exhaustion as well as past traumas. By providing encouragement and equipping them with the necessary tools, I aim to help them reach their full potential and live a meaningful life.
What are you most excited about for 2023?
Crystal: As we embark on the journey of 2023, I am thrilled about the opportunity to help more women overcome mental and emotional exhaustion by highlighting the significance of taking time to R.E.S.E.T. By having candid and genuine discussions with girls, young women, and women, we can foster stronger and healthier communities. I strongly believe that by prioritizing self-care and inspiring others to do the same, we can increase our personal fulfillment and productivity, while also making a positive impact on society as a whole.
In her thought-provoking book R.E.S.E.T. Releasing Every Situation Encourages Transformation, Crystal transparently shares about her season of being mentally and emotionally burned out, and how the love, grace, and mercy of God healed her heart, transformed her mind, and taught her who she is as a Daughter of the King!
