How are you helping inventors and businesses?
We offer guidance and research (patent and trademark searches) specifically for inventors and aim to get an inventor ready for their pursuit into the application process with an attorney.
For businesses and attorneys we offer help in whatever they need help with! Mostly this involves help in drafting or editing their drafting.
Why is it important to have a one-on-one client experience?
I believe that a one on one experience makes the customer feel valued and allows us as a business to customize their experience based on their individual goals. We are a small business which allows us to offer this with ease and I guarantee that I will personally always be accessible.
What are a few of the trends you are seeing?
Around a month after COVID we started seeing many COVID or hygiene related inventions. There was also a rise in all kinds of inventions in 2020. I believe this was due to lockdowns and inventors having more time on their hands to focus on their inventions.
Share your strengths as an intellectual property consultant.
I have lived and breathed IP since I got into the field. I have experienced both sides of the coin which I think is important in that it gives me a deeper understanding and empathy. I think every IP expert should go through the process themselves.
I have also managed teams of other IP consultants and learned a lot from others (good and bad!).
I LOVE what I do. I’m always ready to help, share my experiences and knowledge and always ready to learn more – whether it be from inventors, other consultants or attorneys.
Prior to getting into IP I was in customer service roles which I believe is what drives me to offer such a great customer experience.
Are you finding more women business owners?
Yes! what I love the most is that every woman business owner I have come across is so supportive of my business, even if they don’t need my services.
