As a devoted Christian, wife, mother, and author of 16 books covering everything from prayer and devotion to relationships and health, her work resonates deeply with readers seeking guidance, encouragement, and practical wisdom.
Her journey into writing was unexpected but divinely guided. After stepping away from her career as a medical interpreter, Fabiana found herself drawn to storytelling — fueled by faith and a desire to uplift others. Each book she pens is more than just words on a page; they are conversations with her readers, offering them insight, strength, and a roadmap for navigating life’s challenges.
In this exclusive interview, we get to know the woman behind the books — her inspirations, her passion for writing, and what’s next on her horizon.
As an influential author, you have a platform to inspire others. How would you describe your journey as an author so far?
Fabiana: My journey as an author is awesome, although it was unexpected because before becoming an author, I was a remote Haitian-Creole Medical Interpreter in 2023. My awesome husband, Mr.Africain, retired me which gave me all the free time I needed to write all my books.
Every great author has that “aha” moment when they realize they have a story to tell. What was yours?
Fabiana: My “aha” moment was after I was retired, I rewatched my Pastor’s business seminar and out of the ten valuable ideas that he provided to elevate your finances, Author is what stood out to me more. From that point on, I knew I had a story or stories to tell. As a devoted Chrisitan, I consulted with God first about my author journey, and once he gave me the green light and ideas, I took it and ran with it.
How do you use your voice beyond the pages of your books?
Fabiana: I write my books with passion and I also allow God to use me to reach his children. For example, one of my books, Prayers Against Different Types of Spiritual Problems is very popular with five star reviews, and my readers are content and satisfied with this book since it solved their spiritual problems.
How do you see your books shaping conversations and inspiring change in today’s world?
Fabiana: All 16 of my books are all different topics (Health & Wellness, Technology, Prayer & Devotion, Non-fiction-Drama, Relationship tips, and the most recent co-author collaboration with successful women published yesterday (3/16/25) always sparks conversion, especially The Secret Sauce for a Successful Relationship. People love to hear tips about how relationships can be successful. In this book, I give my personal experience on how I am happily married after many years. My books can inspire change in today’s world, for example in my book, Roadmap To Healthy Eating Habits/Finally Eating Right, can inspire a reader to start eating healthier especially the way I break down the benefits in my book.
What has been one of the most memorable reactions or responses from a reader that truly touched your heart?
Fabiana: My reader’s reviews always touch my heart since my writing is focused on my readers. One of the reviews for my book, Prayers Against Different Types of Spiritual Problems, actually made me cry, because my reader stated that after reading my book, their prayers were answered. My reviews are more important to me than my royalties because I love to see how my book encouraged, inspired or motivated my reader and that is priceless to me.
What’s one thing your readers might be surprised to learn about you? A hidden talent, a guilty pleasure, or something unexpected?
Fabiana: One thing my readers might be surprised to learn about me, I am a perfectionist. Before I publish my books, I don’t know how many times I read them over and over so that it can be perfect, especially with book covers. I never want my readers to look at my work and be disappointed.
Can you give us any exclusive details about your next book or any exciting projects on the horizon?
Fabiana: One project I was working on was published yesterday, the co-author collaboration with successful women, eBook The Business of Bold/Women Making History, which is available at my bookstore. Any new projects in the future, I like to build in silence because it is best to post a completed project after than to talk about it prematurely. By doing that, like my Pastor always reminds us, this lessens spiritual attacks.
What additional information would you like to share at this time?
Fabiana: I also have an e-commerce online store that started in 2020. I love designing as this is one of my hobbies.
What’s your message to aspiring authors who are afraid to take that first step toward sharing their stories with the world?
Fabiana: My message to aspiring authors who are afraid to take that first step toward sharing their stories to the world would be, always consult with God first, our Creator before embarking on any journey. Our Father takes delight in his children’s prosperity (Psalm 35:27).
