The company’s founder personally selected Alix to be the face of their external funding efforts, given her 179k follower presence on Instagram as @alixoid. “Her public presence only exalted her other professional qualities. At Opaliris, Alix leads a live audience of investors through the process of producing a highly realistic, augmented reality virtual make-up try-on session – fusing her knowledge of the beauty industry with her mastery of digital developing tools.” When Alix began to construct the framework of her professional life, she was an art student composing alternate realities through sculpture and cinematic digital renderings. From early on, her muses for creative projects were rooted in eclectic mediums – ranging from demonstrations of high fashion, space exploration, and the speed of hypersonic sound waves.

After graduating with her degree in Design Media, Alix secured an internship at NASA to kick off her career in mathematical computation. “I felt that my artistic work had been influenced by the splendor of space – since my earliest memories as a child, space exploration deeply interested me,” revealed Alix, “I wanted to demonstrate my fascination with the mystical framework of space – I wanted to learn what defies the laws of gravity, and see it up close.” It was at NASA where Alix became an apprentice to all the intricacies involved in the development, and scientific operation, of a U.S. spacecraft. Alix, leveraging her artistic talents, recalls creating visualizations of radioisotope thermoelectric generators – the fuel source for unmanned spacecraft.

Opaliris is currently developing an original AI model that outperforms existing VTO solutions on the market – having now raised millions of dollars in seed-funding, largely thanks to the compelling demos Alix created for Opaliris. The model, philanthropist, and technologic thinker takes the holistic route toward career fulfillment – motivated by her innate curiosity of all that is and what will one day cease to be.
