INTERVIEW WITH JEFFERY LEVINE

Jeffrey Levine, on the surface, is an extremely accomplished independentfinancial strategist with J L Wealth Solutions who harnesses more than 25 years’ experience in the financial and tax planning arena. Mr. Levine consistently ensures and protects the long-term viability of multimillion-dollar portfolios and enterprises. He designated himself as a “WealthBuilder” who takes a healthy portfolio, adds creative vision, then designs visionary strategies to attain and retain generational wealth. As such, he produces healthy, enduring results for high echelon clients including multinational corporations, non-profits, senior executives, and diplomats. More than a strategist, Mr. Levine is a transformational leader who influences and persuades top ranking people with his highly soughtafter opinions and respected trusted judgments.
Mr. Levine received his L.L.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law. It was there that he developed his passion for coaching and training, studying topics such as economics, political science, and business management. He went on to be a contributor for several periodicals, a featured commentator for numerous renowned news shows, while handling quantitative analysis needs of managing multi-billiondollar accounts, has written several books and produced the motivational movie ‘Beyond the Secret’ in partnership with other dynamic industry professionals.

IPM: Can you please tell us a little about yourself and how you got to where you are today?
JEFF: I was born in Albany, New York. My father worked for the local newspaper and my mother was a school teacher and guidance counselor. Since April 15 was a challenging time in our family, my father owed taxes and didn’t have the money to pay. Since I didn’t want this to happen to him ever again, I went to law school and then an extra year of law school to study 12 courses on tax law. And I earned a Certified Financial Planner degree. After I received my education, my father never owed additional taxes again. Since I was able to help him with his taxes and his finances, I decided to do it for others for 35 years. After 35 years, I retired. Since the Covid-19, I started to practice again helping Business Owners and Entrepreneurs to reduce taxes and build wealth. I am now doing it in Phoenix, Arizona.
IPM: As we heard about you are the producer of “Beyond the Secret” film that follows the work the law of attraction. What inspired you to decide to start producing the new movie?
JEFF: The movie the Secret had a great effect on me in 2007, I wanted to come out with another movie similar to it. One morning, I woke up and saw on the screen of my mind the words Beyond the Secret. I instantly called my partner Don Boyer and he said let’s get started putting a movie together.
IPM: Some of our readers would like to know what does a producer do?
JEFF: Since I am the executive producer, I worked with my partner, who is the producer to find some cast members who were in the original Secret. Then we found other self-help leaders to be in the movie. Once the filming was done, we had to take the content of the cast members and make it into a story. This way we could potentially change many lives.
IPM: How were you able to find the people you need for your movie?
JEFF: My partner and I had great contacts, we made phone calls and almost everybody we spoke to was interested. We also received Names of other people who might be interested. We also received calls and emails of interested people.
IPM: Is it difficult to produce the movie?
JEFF: Yes. It was my first movie; it was very challenging. We had Outside circumstances and equipment challenges that made it seem impossible at times. Next time, I will leave it to the experienced movie producers.
IPM: What was the roadblock you faced when you were starting?
JEFF: It was money. There were always unexpected costs that we didn’t expect. Early on, we needed to buy additional equipment and that was very expensive.
IPM: What advice would you give someone who wants to have a life creating films?
JEFF: Make sure you have a big budget. Also, do your research and get expert advice before you begin. Always have qualified people to work with. Before you get started, always expect the unexpected, and you won’t be surprised.
IPM: Thank you, I have also noticed that you are an author, financial wealth consultant, TV show Host, and an Investor. Being an entrepreneur in those fields, how are you able to manage all in your life?
JEFF: You have to be very focused on every project. Since almost every project I work on takes longer than I expect, I always allow buffer time during the day for the unexpected. The best advice is putting on your calendar the exact project you’re working on and how much time you will spend. Always put time limits on everything.
IPM: What motivates you to keep going in all your do?
JEFF: The main thing that motivates me is helping business owners and entrepreneurs with their Financial needs. Since the COVID-19, there are a lot of people who need help now by working on all my different projects, I am able to reach more people than before.
IPM: What is your favorite part of your business that you enjoy doing?
JEFF: It is doing a financial plan for business owners and entrepreneurs. By doing the financial plan, I have taken all the information they have given me along with their goals, to set up a roadmap to follow. I then coach them to get the results they desire.
IPM: What obstacles have you faced in the pursuit of your businesses and how did you overcome them?
JEFF: When I started, I had no clients and no money coming in. Because of that, I started Doing seminars, radio shows, and TV broadcasts. I even wrote a column for the local business newspaper. After a while, potential clients started coming to my office. IPM: What do you want to accomplish by next year?
JEFF: Yes. Make sure you research thoroughly any project you plan on doing. Once the research is done, make a committed decision and take action immediately. Since there will always be more projects than you can handle, only pick the ones that resonate with you.
IPM: Do you have any important message you would like to share with our readers and aspiring entrepreneurs?
JEFF: I would like to give 50 speeches, 20 TV shows, magazine interviews, and 50 new clients to help. This way I can educate more people than I can see. It is all about financial literacy.
