Barry Angeline is an accomplished and respected professional with decades of experience in a variety of industries. With a strong educational background and multiple degrees, including a BS and an MS in Polymer Science and Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, as well as an MBA with Distinction from Manchester Business School, Angeline has excelled in academia and business. He has also studied International Marketing at the International University of Japan.
Angeline’s contributions to the academic field are evident through his numerous publications and papers. Additionally, he holds two patents: one for Aqueous Silane Coupling Agent Solution for Use as a Sealant Primer awarded in 1994, and another for a Cyber Security invention awarded in 2016.
Throughout his career, Angeline has been recognized for his exceptional work. He received the ASA(ALT) Lean Six Sigma Excellence Award for the PM SPE project, as well as Management Excellence and Summit Awards for Multiple Stock Option Grants.
As the founder of Cyberricade, Angeline has led major projects, including re-engineering initiatives at the US Marine Corps. In this role, he developed tailored training materials and mentored individuals towards Lean Six Sigma certification. He has also served as a principal consultant at the Office of Administration, Executive Office of the President, where he led ITIL-based Service Management processes and metrics design for the Office of the CIO.
How did you get started with Cyberricade?
After gaining years of experience in various roles within different companies, I felt compelled to venture out on my own and establish my own business. The driving force behind this decision stemmed from my deep passion for my work and the extensive industry knowledge I had acquired. Furthermore, my innate desire to innovate and generate fresh ideas pushed me toward the path of entrepreneurship, providing an outlet for my creative personality. With this conviction, I meticulously laid the groundwork for my venture, dedicating myself wholeheartedly to its realization. Despite encountering initial challenges and setbacks, I now revel in the tremendous success of my thriving company, fueled by my unwavering vision, unwavering dedication, and boundless enthusiasm for my craft. From an early age, I always found solace in experimentation with chemicals, which solidified my destiny as a scientist. Throughout my life, my unwavering creative spirit has consistently served as an inspiration, encouraging me to venture into uncharted territories and embrace risks that others may shy away from. It is this unyielding sense of creativity that not only enables me to succeed but to truly flourish in any endeavor, be it academic pursuits, career advancements, or simply exploring new horizons.
What’s one trend that currently excites you?
Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the most exciting trends in today’s society for me. Its potential to revolutionize various fields, including business, healthcare, education, and domestic life, cannot be understated. In the business sector, AI systems can analyze complex data sets to make accurate predictions about consumer choices and behaviors, thereby helping companies better target their marketing strategies and increase sales. In healthcare, AI systems are digesting vast amounts of patient data, contributing to advancements in understanding certain conditions and developing treatments for once-incurable diseases. Similarly, in education, AI can assess learning outcomes accurately and provide personalized instruction tailored to each student’s needs. Even in our homes, AI enhances safety by automatically locking doors or turning on lights upon room entry. The limitless applications of AI across all aspects of our lives are clear, promising significant improvements and leading us into an exciting new era that would have been unimaginable just a few years ago.
What are strategies that you’re using that work really well to generate new business?
By staying updated on industry trends and continually adapting these practices, I maintain a competitive edge in my profession and business. With years of experience, I understand the importance of remaining current and avoiding redundancy. Instead, I embrace the challenge of learning and excelling, which enables me not only to stay relevant but to thrive in the ever-changing business landscape.
