Hello, I am Boris Svirsky, the founder of Safeway Moving, a reputable moving company known for its exceptional customer service and efficient moving solutions. I was born and raised in a family of movers, and my passion for the industry started at a young age.

These days, I’m focused on growing and expanding Safeway Moving, ensuring that we continue to provide top-notch moving services to our customers across the country. I’m also actively involved in exploring new opportunities within the industry and identifying ways to innovate and improve our services. Additionally, I enjoy spending time with my family and participating in outdoor activities like hiking and camping.

What made you decide to become an entrepreneur? 

I always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to create something of my own. Growing up in a family of movers, I gained valuable knowledge and experience in the industry. After working in the industry for several years, I saw an opportunity to create a moving company that could provide top-quality service to customers and differentiate itself from the competition. I also wanted to build a business that could offer opportunities for growth and advancement to its employees. That’s what inspired me to become an entrepreneur and start Safeway Moving.

What would you say are the top 3 skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur, and why? 

Here are three skills that are widely recognized as crucial for entrepreneurship success:

Adaptability: Entrepreneurship is inherently unpredictable, and it requires a high level of adaptability to handle the ups and downs that come with it. Successful entrepreneurs must be able to pivot quickly, adjust their strategies, and stay nimble in response to changing market conditions, customer demands, and other factors.

Resilience: Starting a business can be challenging, and setbacks and failures are a natural part of the journey. Successful entrepreneurs need to have the resilience to persevere through difficult times, learn from their mistakes, and bounce back from setbacks with renewed energy and determination.

Vision and Creativity: Successful entrepreneurs often have a clear vision of what they want to achieve and how they want to make an impact in their industry or community. They are also creative thinkers who can generate new ideas and solutions to problems and are not afraid to take risks to bring their vision to life.

You sound quite passionate about your work; why? Is there a story behind it? 

I had a passion for my work in the moving industry due to my family background and the experiences I gained from a young age. I saw the challenges and opportunities in the industry and recognized the potential to create a successful business that could provide excellent service to customers while also generating revenue. Additionally, I have a strong work ethic and enjoy the satisfaction that comes from building something from the ground up and seeing it grow and succeed over time.

How do you separate Safeway Moving from your competitors? 

At Safeway Moving, we differentiate ourselves from our competitors in several ways. First and foremost, we prioritize the needs of our customers, and we strive to provide them with exceptional customer service throughout the entire moving process. From the initial consultation to the final delivery, we ensure that our customers receive timely and transparent communication, as well as a stress-free moving experience.

Additionally, we take great pride in our team of highly trained and experienced professionals who are dedicated to ensuring the safe and secure transportation of our customer’s belongings. Our team is equipped with state-of-the-art moving equipment and supplies to ensure that all items are carefully and securely transported to their destination.

What was the biggest problem you encountered launching your company and how did you overcome it? 

One of the biggest challenges we faced was establishing credibility in a crowded and competitive market. Moving is a complex and stressful process for customers, and they want to work with a company they can trust to handle their possessions with care and professionalism. In the early days of Safeway Moving, we didn’t have much of a reputation, so it was difficult to convince potential customers to choose us over more established competitors.

To overcome this challenge, we focused on providing exceptional customer service and going above and beyond for our clients. We made sure that every move was handled with the utmost care and attention to detail, and we were always available to answer any questions or concerns that our customers had. What’s the best part of your job? 

As a successful entrepreneur and founder of Safeway Moving, I have to say that the best part of my job is seeing the satisfaction of our customers after a job well done.

What is your definition of success?
