Dubbed “the next Kate Upton”, Instagram star Antje Utgaard has established herself as sporty, sexy, and of course, swimsuit-loving. With features in Maxim, Sports Illustrated, Esquire, and Playboy, Utgaard has undoubtedly caught many eyes, but as of 2021, the bikini babe has turned her focus towards acting. Although Utgaard is hardly a novice when it comes to the television and film industry. One can experience her impressive acting abilities first-hand in 2017 film “Sable” and 2019 film “Mob Town.” Utgaard also shares her affinity for acting in a more brief capacity via her social media. On Instagram, where Utgaard has amassed an audience of nearly two million, the up-and-coming star showcases her acting prowess with short comedy skits. As a dedicated comedian and influencer, Utgaard also entertains a large audience on Tik Tok where she is able to showcase more of her light-hearted personality. Adding “comedian” to the long list of assets Utgaard has acquired for her resumé, it’s no wonder she seems to be drawing eyes all across the entertainment industry. That being said, the blonde bombshell will hardly be hanging up her bikini anytime soon.

You have graced the covers of Maxim, Esquire, and Playboy. What did you enjoy the most about these experiences?

Yes, all of which were huge honors and really a dream come true. I’ve been featured in all of them but have yet to steal the Sports Illustrated cover, which is still on my bucket list! I really enjoyed shooting for all of them especially Playboy because they shut down the whole mansion for me.. it was really a fairytale.

You have been dubbed as “The Next Kate Upton.” How does this make you feel?

Yes, I was dubbed “The Next Kate Upton,” a few years back! It was a dream at the time and a huge honor since she was one of the reasons I wanted to get into modeling but throughout my own journey in the industry I think a bigger honor would to be known as the first Antje Utgaard. I want to be the one to inspire young girls to really go after their dreams and to be whatever they want to be… but of course, I was flattered by the Kate comparison and at that time it was a dream come true!

You display your acting prowess with short comedy skits in social media. Tell us more.

Yes!! I absolutely love creating short comedic and action skits. I got into acting a few years back and have done a few movies and TV shows but have yet to really make my name in that field. I started studying comedy and fell in love. I used to do a lot of comedic collabs with Youtubers and back when Vine was a thing, but never much on my own. Then when COVID struck and I couldn’t study anymore, I took my practices to TikTok; making short comedic skits and they really took off! I’m thinking of starting a YouTube series soon now as my TikToks have had much success and I truly enjoy making them.. so be on the lookout for a lot more from me!

With almost 2M Followers on Instagram, how do you keep your content fresh? Any tips for others?

It’s definitely one thing to gain that many followers but it’s a whole other thing to keep them! I’ve lost so many followers in my years on social media but whenever I lose some, I gain more than I lost which is the goal. You won’t please everyone with every post and as you change and you grow in life, your content style changes too; hence why your followers change so often. My advice is to just stay true to yourself and your vision. Create what you like and what feels right to you, not just what you think your fans want to see.

What led you to acting?

When I started doing collaborations with YouTubers and Viners back when I first moved to LA, I realized quickly how much I enjoyed the acting part of it and so I started taking classes. From there I got an agent and started auditioning! My first role was kind of a random fluke. My manager at the time got it for me and I had no prior warning until I showed up on sets, I’d have to say the first actual movie role that I got from auditioning would have to be my role as Angela in MobTown back in 2019.

Do you have favorite genres?

Yes, I love comedic acting the most, but I am also really into action and drama. As far as comedy style, I love SNL skit style improv acting the most, and as far as drama, I love movies like Kill Bill, Atomic Blonde, and Mob style movies.

Who would you like to work with?

I’d love to work with Quentin Tarantino one day! I think he’s a genius and I really love his directing style… plus he’s a legend.

Share your upcoming projects.

I’m shooting a movie at the end of September in Norway next and of course, I have my OFTV series that I just launched and have been continuing with new episodes biweekly. I also have been shooting many magazine covers that will be released soon and much more!
