Share your background in the financial and software industries. What did you learn from this experience?

After completing my Master’s in computer science, there was the challenge of finding my first job. In my search, I was hired by a small Software company in midtown Manhattan to help develop a custom software for the dental industry. As with any project, I immersed myself in the dental sector to produce the best features assigned to working with a small team required me to understand all the software development cycle facets. This fun and challenging opportunity propelled my tech skills. It helped mold me into the software engineer I needed to be, so I moved on to the life insurance sector after a short time, where I spent a year building custom software for a life insurance carrier. While working for the life insurance carrier, I wanted to challenge myself more, so I set my goals on Wall Street. I had two separate interviews before I landed the second opportunity to work at Morgan Stanley in the mutual funds department doing reconciliations. During my eight years at Morgan Stanley, I increased my leadership and problem-solving skills while gaining a general understanding of how successful organizations work and operate.

What led you to launch Worldcast Live.

We believed that technology could be used to connect even more artists and fans with live music from their favorite Indie artists around the world. We created Worldcast Radio (original name) technology platform that allowed DJs to host live mix shows from their home studio while providing an additional source of exposure for Indie artists to showcase their talents. The first software we launched was the WCR scheduler, a self- operating, standalone desktop application that allowed DJs to schedule Indie artists & music track plays while switching out DJs live and recorded mix shows. After the success of the WCR scheduler, we launched the web-based portal that handled bookings, multi-venue support, payments and live interactive streaming. The goal was to allow entertainers to perform from anywhere in the world and deliver a full TV-style production in Full HD. We reached our goal when we launched Worldcast Live. We wanted to remove boundaries and connect the world of live entertainment with multiple tools to amplify fan and user engagement.

The UniMerse is an interactive streaming and loyalty-based fan engagement app. Why is this essential to the experience of Worldcast Live? We see many platforms and apps out in the market focused on the content creator’s needs. We created a platform that focuses on both the content creator and user to amplify both experiences. We believe that fans and consumers should be rewarded for interacting and engaging with brands. The main goal of the UniMerse app is to incentivize the user before, during and after live events to help brands build sustainable brand loyal from their audiences. By immersing the user in the UniMerse app, the user’s experience is taken to another level that creates a long-standing impression that keeps them active and engaging with their favorite brands.
