Please tell us a little about Power Influence Radio.

Lady Tiffany: Power Influence Radio is the fastest-growing internet radio station for inspiration and encouragement! Our mission is using the power of radio to make a kingdom influence around the globe! A variety of soul-stirring music can be heard from artists such as Kirk Franklin, India Arie, Yolanda Adams, Ledisi, and Jonathan McReynolds, just to name a few. We have exciting new shows that will be loaded this Summer and more exciting things to come for the 4th quarter as our audience grows.

You are an author as well as a radio host. How do you handle both? Lady

Tiffany: Being an author and radio host is not hard. Both require creativity and the ability to relay my thoughts and ideas..the only difference is one is written, and the other is spoken!!! In all that I do, my personality shines through…. whichever hat I am wearing, God gives me divine inspiration to be able to relay the message effectively to the intended audience.

What have been some challenges you have faced as an entrepreneur?

Lady Tiffany: One of the biggest challenges I have faced as an entrepreneur is staying encouraged during downtime. Although I am an ordained minister and I encourage and minister faith to the masses, it is still a struggle for me most days because I am human too, Building a radio station is not easy, being a radio personality and constantly keeping people booked for your show is not easy! Balancing entrepreneurship while working full-time in corporate is not easy. It becomes overwhelming at times, but what helps me is staying grateful for how far I have come in such a short time and having a great business partner as well that helps encourage me in the low times.

From your experience, what should aspiring radio hosts be prepared for before entering the industry?

Lady Tiffany: One of the things anyone wanting to enter the radio industry should consider is the industry is overcrowded! You not only have veteran radio personalities that are in the industry, but new and upcoming social media influencers are now getting a piece of the pie! There is real competition in these media streets to be the next “big” thing. I urge you to consider your “why” and be true to yourself. There may be a million radio personalities out here..but there is only one YOU!!! Don’t be intimidated… but be honorable and respect those that have gone before you. Build genuine relationships and learn all you can from those that cross your path. Most importantly, enjoy your journey. It is hard work, but it is also a fun ride I wouldn’t trade for anything.

What is the one thing you can’t live without?

Lady Tiffany: The one thing I can’t live without is Sunday morning church service!! I love my church Embassy City in Atlanta,GA, under the leadership of Apostle Bryan Meadows. As an entrepreneur..our weeks are very long and trying. Sunday is the day I get to recenter myself, release the stress of the week before and receive restoration and divine instructions for the days, weeks, and years to come.

If you could change anything about your life, what would it be? Why or Why not?

Lady Tiffany: The life I have lived has not been the best. I have had some very hard moments that I have lived through 2 divorces, homelessness, teenage mother, unemployment, setbacks, and betrayal, and that is just a small piece of it in my 44 years of living. I wouldn’t trade any of it. It has made me who I am today, and I am still becoming. Through each of the mountain tops and valleys I have experienced, I have come to learn God even more through each phase of my life. As long as HE is with me.there is nothing I can’t overcome. In my opinion, the worst is over anyway the best is yet to come!
