Fearless and determined, Fred Zarbailov welcomed the real world at a young age to ensure his own livelihood. Coming from humble beginnings did not deter him in striving for financial prosperity and realizing his dreams. And look at where he is now – one of today’s most successful property investors and sought-after economic advisers! His extraordinary success testifies to the power of dedication, hard work, and never giving up on your dreams.
After obtaining his degree in Finance and Marketing from DePaul University, he started a prosperous journey as a Financial Analyst/Advisor. Luckily for him, Goldman Sachs Group Inc., an international leader in asset management and investment banking, had the ideal opportunity to obtain invaluable experience by offering its customers with exceptional financial services throughout the planet.
At first, he realized that this field was not the path for him and began to pursue a more profitable venture in transportation. He succeeded greatly as president and owner of his own company, earning both prestige and financial success from it. However, when Uber came along his attention shifted back to real estate investing – which became his next challenge. Nowadays besides being an agent/investor for properties, he is also actively involved in crypto-currency trading and stock investments!
From a very young age, mathematics filled him with admiration for its logical and orderly structures. As he matured, this appreciation shifted to encompass social studies; the interaction between people, countries and cultures on a global scale enthralled him. He realized that life is complex—shaped not only by our environment but also through the relationships we form—which only intensified his curiosity in these intricacies even more.
With his natural inclination toward order and social science, Fred discovered his true passion in business. He perceives it as more than just a financial system; rather, he views it as an expedition of how businesses modify human behavior within the world. It necessitates both organization and guidance to guarantee its continuous success. His ultimate objective with his company is to give back to the community by contributing to our economy’s advancement while helping individuals from all backgrounds who interact with it.
Fred is devoted to assisting his clients in achieving their ambitions. He offers asset management and insightful guidance with a focus on understanding the unique needs of each customer. His aim is to locate the most suitable assets while simultaneously minimizing any risks they may encounter. Fred understands that clear communication as well as an unwavering commitment are essential for creating a prosperous future – not only for himself but also those he serves!

Thanks for joining us! Let’s start with getting to know who Fred Zarbailov is? And what are you doing these days?
Thanks for having me. I am Fred Zarbailov, a struggler who entered the practical world at a very young age to make a living. Coming from a financially humble background, I was always eager to be successful and to make a lot of money to live the life of my dreams.
After getting my degree from DePaul University in finance and marketing, I started working as a Financial Analyst/Advisor. I worked at The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., which is a leading global investment banking, securities, and investment management firm. There I learned the art of providing a wide range of financial services to clients. But very soon I realized this field is not for me so I switched to a more lucrative business and started a transportation service business. I was the president and owner of my transportation company and earned a good reputation and a lot of money through that gig. After Uber became a thing, I decided to quit that business and started a new journey as a real estate investor. Nowadays apart from working as a real estate agent/investor, I am actively doing crypto and stock trading too.
What made you decide to become a real estate investor?
A lot of people ask this question and my honest reply has always been that my motivation to try any industry is to make good money. My journey has been a complicated one so far. From a miserable childhood to entering into finance and banking to make a lucrative career in 2004-2007 and from quitting the banking industry to jumping into the transportation business I have tried a lot of things before finally landing in the real estate market. Until Uber became a very strong competitor, my taxi business was doing great but after that, I got into market research and found that the real estate business is a good option to try my luck. I started off by investing in real estate, buying properties, and renting them out to tenants to make money. This is how I became a real estate agent/property manager and real estate investor.
What would you say are the top 3 skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur, and why?
- Passion
For me, passion is the fuel that drives an entrepreneur’s aims and makes him climb the ladder of success.
- Strong communication skills
No entrepreneur can succeed without solid communication skills. He needs to communicate with every stakeholder with perfection. From peers to clients, and everyone in between, influential communication is a must.
- Ability to sell
When I started my business as a solopreneur, I was the primary salesperson. That’s why I needed to have the ability to sell my service effectively, like pitching investors or closing deals. If an entrepreneur can sell himself, his business, and his vision first to his employees and then to his clients, he is bound to succeed.

You sound quite passionate about your work; why? Is there a story behind it?
I am actually hungry for success. My passion for my work is derived from my passion to make money. Since a very young age, I had no specific love or passion for anything. All I wanted was to be financially sound. Regardless of industry or business, as long as it’s generating money I wanted to do that. I have seen a lot of suffering and misery in my childhood because of poor financial conditions. I couldn’t even afford a movie ticket worth $4. I remember I used to play basketball in the park or watch free TV (non-cable) to entertain myself so I always wanted everything in life. I knew I had to earn it by any means to provide myself with everything I wanted. So I tried multiple fields like banking and finance, established a taxi business, and now I’m working as a real estate investor to fulfill my dreams.
How do you separate yourself from your competitors?
What separates me from my competitors is Fred Zarbailov. Yes, I am the only difference because every real estate investor in the market is doing his best like me but I add my personal flavor, my style of friendly communication that makes people love working with me. I can proudly claim I have great communication and sales skills. Working with people and having employees demand to be nice and respectful to them and that’s exactly what I do.
I try to build great relationships and manage them with respect. When I worked in the transportation business I was very nice and friendly to my clients and my drivers. That’s how I was able to get repeat customers and great workers. I was able to become friends with them. And I owe my success to my ability to manage people in the best possible manner. Even working as a real estate investor my communication skills have always helped me a lot.
What was the biggest problem you encountered launching yourself as a real estate investor and how did you overcome it?
Investment capital was a big issue as it was a very risky thing to jump into a business with a huge capital but I overcame my fear of failure and found some reliable partners, and became a part of a network of investors to start.
How do you stay driven and motivated to keep going in your business?
To stay driven and motivated, I keep on revisiting my old house and my old pictures to remember where I started and where I want to reach. I aim to earn money and secure a comfortable life for my loved ones.
What’s the best part of your job?
The best part of my current job is coming across a wide variety of people every single day. I enjoy working with people and getting to know their dreams and goals. Some people want to buy a property because they want a house of their own, a place of their dreams and I love being a part of their journey toward success. While some people invest in property to make money and grow their wealth, I feel happy to facilitate them in building a fortune.
What is your definition of success?
Money is success for me! The more you have, the more successful you are because money makes everything fall into place.
Thank you so much for this truly amazing interview!
